Saturday mornings from 9-11 a.m. CT

This workshop for non-performers addresses group dynamics and what we can do to create balance within them. Using Improvisational exercises, we will practice creating harmony between seemingly opposite ideas, such as collaborating while having your needs met and supporting team direction while still being able to say "no." When the time comes to apply these practices to your life outside the workshop, you'll know how. 

Improv Represents 

Monday evenings from 6-8 p.m. CT

Starting May 17 for 3 weeks 

$85 per person

Begin your Improv journey with your community. This class is meant to unite people of color seeking to experience Improv in a low pressure, safe, and fun setting. We’ll focus on the foundations of Improv including creating as a group, active listening, and finding joy. No previous Improv experience is required. If you think, “but I’m not funny,” this class is definitely for you. “Improv Represents” introduces you to a community and an art form that you’ll want to stay connected to for a long time. 

Invisible Improv: Advocating for your Invisible Disability

Tuesday evenings from 6:30-8:30 p.m. CT

Starting July 6 for 3 weeks 

$85 per person

Imagine arriving at your doctor’s appointment confident in describing your symptoms, level of pain and your needs, clearly and without shame. This class is designed to help you create a mental space in which you feel empowered to express your needs to everyone from your medical doctors and work managers to your friends and family. Whether you need to switch restaurants for accessibility reasons or switch medications for any reason, you deserve to be heard and respected. Join Shannon Stott as she leads you through exercises and discussions designed to boost your confidence in these important situations.
